Belly dance shows for Seniors
Seniors rock! They are my favorite audiences to dance for. Their smiles carry me for miles and we have a great time interacting together before, during and after the show. A belly dance performance can be a great way for Activity Directors to add variety to senior programming for their residents. I provide a 15-20 minutes show with a grand entrance using colorful silk veils and finger cymbals. I also include a number where I move around the room and invite the audience members to try out some of the hand and arm movements that I do. This can be done from a seated position, but sometimes the audience can't wait to get up and cut a rug with me (see photo below :) It's great fun to end the show with a snappy drum solo filled with pops, locks and shimmies that will leave you wondering "how did she do that?" Then there is time for Q&A and photos.
Please contact me to talk about how I can help you add quality entertainment to your senior community programming at very special rates. You can also find reviews on my Facebook page HERE. |
