Relieve STRESS.....Belly dance is a fabulous stress reliever. It's a great way to energize and change up your workout to help keep it from becoming the same old routine. It's fun and doesn't quite seem like exercise.....ohhh, but it IS! You'll sweat, but it's the kind of exercise that makes you feel great. Or maybe you don't have a routine and you'd like to do something to improve your physical fitness and emotional well-being. It's low impact, easy on the joints and is appropriate for all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels. Feminine curves are a plus!
Do something just for YOU.... For all that you do, you deserve a treat don't you? For just one hour a week you can "check" all of your aggravations at the door of our studio space. Come on in and recharge with the sounds of glorious music. Meet new friends or bring some along. When you leave....you just might find that you leave those aggravations right where you left them.....at the door.
Find a sense of accomplishment.... Belly dance is a challenge. However, the movements are already inside of our bodies. We just have to let our brains get out of the way. I'll teach you how! You'll learn a variety of movements and how they fit together to make dances. You'll learn a totally different and natural way of moving. Early on, you'll begin to feel (and be) stronger in your middle (and all over). Your posture will likely improve and you'll have a great feeling of accomplishment that will help carry you through the week. You might just find your inner goddess too! She's in there. Let her out : )
